Christ Jesus is our heavenly Boaz, who redeemed us from debt of sin, by paying the ransom of his life and blood to belong to God. If you believe in his gift of his son Christ Jesus, that he died for our sins (I Cor 15:3), buried and rose from the dead for our justification (Romans 4:25), you will be saved.

• Ruth a picture of a believer in Christ Jesus.
Ruth did not see Naomi, but she saw the only true God and made a decision to followed.
One Decision changed the life of Ruth, from Gentile to Jew, moved from curse to Blessing, from not knowing God to knowing the Living God, that same one decision will change your life and give you eternity with the Loving God who sent forth his son to be a propitiation, offering, payment for the sins of all who believe and come to him by faith.
For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all, s?bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” - Romans 10:10-13

Road to Emmaus...Christ revealed.
In your walk.....
Are you sad about how things are going? (Luke 24:17).
Are you discussing how things are not going the way you think? (Luke 24:15-17,Mal 3:16).
Lord Jesus Christ himself drew near(Lk 24:15), he is interested in you and me and our thoughts, concerns and even misconceptions.
Questioning Jesus: Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem, who does not know the things that have happened in these days? (Luk2 24:18). Infact he is the only one who knows what is going on!! Are you questioning Jesus, why is this happening? Do you know what is happening around?
Whatever might be the understanding of the those who seek him, the Lord explained everything about himself. Cleopas and his friend understood Jesus to be 1) Only a Prophet But, 2) saw Great works, 3) they hoped Jesus to be their messiah (But did not believe him to be messiah), 4) Seen the crucifixion, 5) Heard the good news of resurrection of Jesus.
Most of the people believe that Jesus is only a good teacher (Rabbi), even healer, and some believe Jesus as a prophet, but that unless one knows him to be their savior and Lord, one cannot be saved.
If one seeks the truth, seeks God, Lord Jesus himself will draw near to explain and take away the stumbling stones which are hindering them to come to saving knowledgw of Christ.
Lord so lovingly rebukes and explains everything about himself (Luke 24:27,44), that is written in 1) Law of Moses - Pictures of Christ in Law of Moses. a) Bronze serpent - Numbers 21,John 3:14. b) Smitten rock - Exodus 17:6, I Corinthians 10:4.
2) Prophets - Isaiah 53 - Suffering of Christ. Jonah in belly of fish for 3 days - sign of death and resurrection of Christ Jesus.
3) Psalms - Psalm 22 - Suffering Christ,Psalm 40,69, and many other messianic psalms.
Have you travelled the road to emmaus? Was the arm of the LORD revealed to you? Isaiah 53:1.
How can we travel the road to Emmaus now? Do I have to physically go to Jerusalem suburb?
Ofcourse no, Road to Emmaus is through the center of scriptures. Reading, studying the scriptures with the help of HolySpirit is walking the reoad to emmaus, read the OT, Law of Moses - there are lot of pictures of Christ. Prophets speak of messiah - Isaiah talks about his birth(Is 7:14;8:8;9:6), Zecharaiah talks about events of life of Christ -triumphal entry(Zec 9) and Psalms - Christ revealed to David 1000 years before his coming. Psalm 2 revealing Jesus as son, Ps 22 - suffering messiah - Good shepherd, Psalm 23 as Great shepherd, Ps 24 as Chief Shepherd, Ps 40, Ps 69 - his suffering.
Cleopas and his friend prayed "urged Jesus strongly saying stay with us"...
Jesus is only a prayer away...Please pray that Lord will forgive your sins and will come to dwell with you through Holy Spirit. Cleopas and friends, who believed that Jesus is only a prophet before, now come to saving knowledge of Christ Jesus, they call him Lord (Lk 24:34). Do you know him as your Lord? I encourage you to pray that Lord may bring you to the saving knowledge. I urge you read, study, memorize scriptures, where christ is revealed and will make you wise for salvation. (II Tim 3:14-16).
Are you travelling the road the Emmaus? I invite you to walk with Christ on road to Emmaus through this blog.. A heart burning experience.
